Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 7, 2026
Aadhvi is built for families. We take your privacy — and your children's privacy — seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have as a parent or guardian.
1. Who we are
Aadhvi is an AI-powered learning platform for Grade JK–12 students, operated by Gunjan Joshi, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Our service is available at aadhvi.vercel.app. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean Aadhvi.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what is necessary to run the service:
- Parent account information: your name and email address, collected when you create an account.
- Child profile information:your child's first name, grade level (JK through Grade 12), and US state. We do not collect a child's last name, date of birth, photo, or any government identifier.
- Learning data: answers submitted during assessments and daily practice sessions, scores, and the curriculum level we determine for each subject.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and session timestamps — collected automatically to improve the service.
We do not collect payment information during the current free beta. We do not collect health information, social media profiles, or any biometric data.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your parent account.
- To generate personalised practice worksheets aligned to your child's grade and curriculum standard.
- To track your child's progress and surface it on your parent dashboard.
- To send you a daily email digest summarising your child's practice (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To improve the accuracy and quality of AI-generated content.
- To communicate with you about your account, service updates, and this policy.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in Section 6.
4. Children's privacy and COPPA compliance
Aadhvi is designed for children in Grades JK–12, many of whom are under 13 years old. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and design our service with children's safety as a first principle.
- Parental consent: Only a parent or guardian may create an Aadhvi account. Children do not create their own accounts and do not interact directly with our service in a way that collects personal information beyond what the parent has already provided.
- Minimal collection:We collect only the child's first name, grade, and US state — nothing more. We do not collect a child's email address.
- No advertising:We never show advertisements to children. We never use children's data to build advertising profiles.
- No social features:Children do not have public profiles, cannot message other users, and are not visible to anyone outside their parent's account.
- Parental control: A parent can review all information we hold about their child, correct it, or request its permanent deletion at any time by contacting us (see Section 9).
- AI content safety: All AI-generated practice content passes a quality and safety review before being shown to a child. No AI-generated content references violence, adult themes, or distressing scenarios.
5. Your rights as a parent or guardian
You have the following rights with respect to your account and your child's information:
- Access: You can view all information we hold about you and your child at any time through your parent dashboard.
- Correction:You can update your name, email, or your child's profile from your account settings.
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data permanently. Email us at hello@aadhvi.vercel.app and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
- Opt out of emails: Every digest email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also manage email preferences from your account settings.
- Withdraw consent:You may withdraw consent for us to process your child's data at any time by deleting their profile or your account.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@aadhvi.vercel.app. We will respond within 10 business days.
6. Third-party services we use
Aadhvi relies on the following trusted third-party services. Each processes data only as needed to deliver the service:
- Supabase (database and authentication) — stores parent accounts, child profiles, and practice data on servers located in the United States.
- Vercel (web hosting) — serves the Aadhvi application. Vercel may log request metadata such as IP addresses for security purposes.
- Anthropic Claude API(AI content generation) — generates practice questions and assessments. Practice session content may be sent to Anthropic's API to produce responses. We do not send a child's name or account identifiers to this API.
- Resend (email delivery) — sends your daily digest email. Resend receives your email address for this purpose only.
We do not share your data with any other third parties. We do not use analytics platforms that track you across the web.
7. Data retention
- Active accounts: We retain your data for as long as your account is active and you continue to use the service.
- Inactive accounts: If your account has had no activity for 24 months, we will email you to confirm whether you wish to keep it. If we receive no response within 30 days, we will delete the account and all associated data.
- Deleted accounts: When you request deletion, we permanently remove your data within 30 days. Backups are purged within 90 days.
- Practice session data: Retained for the life of the account to support progress tracking. Deleted with the account.
8. How we protect your information
We use industry-standard security practices: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls that limit who within Aadhvi can view your data. No system is perfectly secure — if you have concerns about a security issue, please contact us immediately at hello@aadhvi.vercel.app.

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service grows. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of Aadhvi after that date means you accept the updated policy.
