Terms of Service

Effective date: April 7, 2026

Welcome to Aadhvi. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use Aadhvi.

1. What Aadhvi is

Aadhvi is an AI-powered learning platform for children in Grades JK–12, designed for families in the United States. The service is operated by Gunjan Joshi, Toronto, Ontario, Canada ("we", "us", "our").

Aadhvi provides parents and guardians with tools to support their children's education, including:

  • AI-generated daily practice worksheets in math and English.
  • Curriculum alignment to US Common Core and state standards.
  • Baseline assessments to determine a child's current level.
  • A parent dashboard showing progress, streaks, and level data.
  • Daily email digests summarising a child's practice activity.
  • Global benchmarking to compare a child's level to international standards.

Aadhvi is a supplement to — not a replacement for — school education. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes.

2. Who can use Aadhvi

  • You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or legal guardian to create an account.
  • You must be resident in the United States or accessing the service on behalf of a child enrolled in a US school.
  • Children do not create their own accounts. All accounts are held by adults.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide about your child is accurate.

3. Beta programme and free access

Aadhvi is currently in free beta. During this period:

  • Access to all features is provided at no cost. No payment information is collected.
  • The service is provided "as is" without any uptime or performance guarantee.
  • Features may change, be added, or be removed without prior notice during the beta.
  • We may invite you to provide feedback. Feedback you share with us may be used to improve the service without any obligation to you.

We will give you at least 30 days' notice before transitioning from free beta to a paid service. You will never be charged without your explicit consent.

4. Future subscription terms

When Aadhvi moves to a paid model, the following terms will apply. These terms are published now so you know what to expect:

  • Subscriptions will be billed monthly or annually, per child, at the rate published on our pricing page at the time you subscribe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — we do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods.
  • If a payment fails, we will notify you and provide a 7-day grace period before suspending access.
  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use Aadhvi only for its intended purpose — supporting your child's learning. You must not:

  • Use the service to generate content for purposes other than your child's personal education.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our AI-generated content in bulk.
  • Share your account credentials with others outside your immediate household.
  • Submit false information about your child's grade, location, or identity to manipulate content generation.
  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable law, including COPPA and US state education privacy laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.

6. AI-generated content

Aadhvi uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate practice questions, assessments, and educational content. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. We apply quality checks, but we do not guarantee perfect accuracy.
  • Content is tailored to a child's grade level and curriculum standard, but it is a supplement — not a certified educational programme.
  • You should review practice content if you have concerns about its suitability. You can report any content that seems inappropriate by contacting hello@aadhvi.vercel.app.

7. Intellectual property

All software, design, branding, and AI-generated content delivered through Aadhvi is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from any part of Aadhvi without our written permission.

Your child's practice responses and learning data remain yours. We use them only to power the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Aadhvi is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific educational goals.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost data, academic outcomes, or device issues.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. During the free beta, this amount is zero.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Educational disclaimers

Aadhvi is an educational support tool. We are not a licensed school, tutoring centre, or accredited educational institution. Use of Aadhvi does not replace participation in school or advice from qualified educators. We do not diagnose learning disabilities or provide special education services.

10. Termination

You may stop using Aadhvi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Aadhvi will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario, Canada. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Before initiating any legal proceeding, you agree to contact us at hello@aadhvi.vercel.app and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of Aadhvi after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not accept the updated terms, please delete your account before the effective date.
